City of Liverpool FC are pleased to announce that left back Louis Corrigan has re-signed for the forthcoming 2021-22 season.

Renowned for his dangerous delivery from set pieces, the experienced full back made 11 appearances during his maiden season with the Purps until football ended prematurely due to the pandemic.

Corrigan has a long working relationship with manager Michael Ellison and his backroom team, having had a successful period together at Runcorn Linnets.

The manager explained his desire to retain a player he’s so familiar with, “Louis is a player we know really well and knows how we work.”

“He’s a top lad on and off the pitch, he’s got a wealth of experience and a wand of a left foot”.

Corrigan is pleased to commit his future to the club, adding, “I’m made up to have signed back on and looking forward to the new season starting already.”

“Last year was a bit stop start for everyone so it’s just exciting to get back to normality.”

“Hopefully we’ll get ourselves off to a good start and see where it takes us”
