PURPS AGREE HEATH LOAN

City of Liverpool FC is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Finlay Heath on loan from National League side Southport.

Fin featured in last night’s defeat at Mossley and joins on an initial loan of 28 days from the Sandgrounders

Heath had a 6 game spell on loan at Prescot Cables earlier this season and also has a similar period at Nantwich Town last campaign.

The midfielder is highly rated at Southport, having made the move to Haig Avenue in 2022, and renewed his contract with the club in May 2024.

Fin spent four years living on the Isle of Man before returning to the Merseyside area in 2018 where he briefly played for Dynamo Rangers of Skelmersdale before being picked up by Buxton.

He now joins Kevin Lynch’s Purps and the new manager will be counting on his National League experience as he looks to orchestrate a turn-around in our fortunes this season.

Welcome to the club, Fin!

PURPS LOAN KHAN

City of Liverpool FC is delighted to announce the signing of Adam Khan on loan from Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers.

The young goalkeeper joins on a 28-day loan as cover for Nick Michalski, who is currently in international duty with England Under 18s.

Khan originally joined Rovers from Premier League side Crystal Palace and signed his first professional contract at Ewood Park in the summer of 2024.

Adam earned his first international call up for Pakistan in May 2024 and joins young Hungarian midfielder Patrik Farkas as a fellow Rovers alumni on loan with the Purps.

Welcome to the Purps, Adam.
